SPONSOR LUCKY
When he got to PA, he arrived with a myriad of health issues which his senior mom could not afford to fix. Sam’s Hope got involved, and we are happy to say that Lucky and his mom are doing very well, despite a lot of ups and downs in their lives; most recently, losing their home. Lucky’s story can be found here: https://chestnuthilllocal.com/stories/help-mr-lucky-so-far-very-unlucky-live-up-to-his-name,9483 One of the issues that Lucky came from GA with was heartworm. A grant from Sam’s Hope provided the heartworm treatment he desperately needed; and he must stay on heartworm meds for life. Lucky is in need ongoing financial support for monthly heartworm medication, which runs $10.41 per month/$125 per year. Your pledge of $.33 per day, ($10 per month) will help provide for Lucky's medical needs; "Keeping Pets and Their People Together"

Shortly following yet another bout of pancreatitis in the Spring of 2023, 10 year old Romeo, the beloved dog of our senior client Carol, was also diagnosed with an enlarged heart and was prescribed heart meds.
10 year old Stella lost her lifelong home at the end of 2022 when her senior dad went into memory care. Around the same time, one of our seniors suddenly lost his beloved cat Sammy.
We met a two year old Lucky way back in 2016 when he came to PA from a Georgia shelter. Just two short hours before his scheduled euthanasia, his now mom, Linda, saw his photo online, fell in love, and with the help of a Georgia rescue, saved his life.
