Arrived at Rainbow Bridge - 2015

Lacey was a wonderful, loving dog with more physical problems than she should have had to live with.

She had a sweet, funny little face with her white eyelashes and brown lips.

We adored her and lost her way too soon.

Heaven gained an awesome dog tonight!

Our 21 year old dog Louie affectionately nicknamed "Snausage" passed away tonight. I rescued this 11 lb. badass from death row 20 years ago, (he was about a year old then), he was a dead dog walking when I happened to walk in to the city pound looking for a dog to save.

He was literally standing under a Chow Chow who happened to be peeing all over him!! So I said to myself, that lil guy doesn't deserve that, let's take him home and clean him up, so I did!! He's been a stellar dog ever since.

I had to put him down tonight, the last few months the dementia had set in pretty hard and his quality of life was declining, but he never whined or complained. He was happiest next to my wife Michelle on the sofa sleeping in his last years. Our family will forever miss this good ole dog, but we have peace that he's in no more pain and he has a sharp mind again.

I loved that dog hard. You're my boy Lou.

She Dwelt among the Untrodden Ways
By William Wordsworth

She dwelt among the untrodden ways, Beside the springs of Dove,...
A maid whom there were none to praise, And very few to love:

A violet by a mossy stone. Half hidden from the eye!
Fair as a star, when only one, Is shining in the sky.

She lived unknown, and few could know, When Lucy ceased to be;
But she is in her grave, and, oh, The difference to me.
